The Cruiser Houston Web Exhibit was created jointly by Julie Grob, Special Collections Librarian, Special Collections, and Rose Hillbrand, Digital Initiatives Fellow, Systems, with the oversight of Pat Bozeman, Head, Special Collections. Julie researched and wrote the text for the exhibit, and Rose designed and implemented the layout of the web site. Monika Zarzycka, Scanning Technician in Special Collections, scanned the images. Andrew Darby, Digital Services Coordinator, Systems, made helpful suggestions on the design of the web site. Technical assistance was provided by the UH Libraries Systems Department under Assistant Dean for Systems Charles Bailey and Head of Systems Tom Wilson.
Otto Schwarz, founder of the USS Houston Survivors Association, and Don Kehn, friend of the USS Houston Survivors Association, edited the text for accuracy. Val Roberts-Poss and Lin Drees, editors of the USS Houston Survivors Association newsletter, the Blue Bonnet, shared their knowledge. We would also like to thank the following people for their generosity in contributing valuable feedback about the web site: Rear Admiral R. B. Fulton USN (Ret), Vic Campbell, and Susan Krug.
