Robert Torres-Torres

Administrative Coordinator


As part of his duties, Robert is responsible for maintaining applicant search files for librarian positions, managing travel and lodging arrangements for any candidates chosen to interview, processing relocations and reimbursements for new hires, oversight of various software platforms, reconciliation of the M.D. Anderson Library's UH Hilton accounts, as well as general administrative duties.


Robert is originally from Puerto Rico, and has lived in Houston for most of his life. He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a Minor in Art History from the University of Houston in 1997, where he focused on oil painting.
Before starting at UH, Robert spent a decade working in Legal Administration at Brown McCarroll L.L.P.
