Lisa Martin is the librarian for economics, hotel and restaurant management, marketing and entrepreneurship, and management at the University of Houston.
She works closely with faculty and other librarians to conduct class-based information sessions, schedule research consultations, and manage the electronic and print collections in the areas for which she is responsible.
Her research interests include the use of games in libraries, effective outreach efforts, and the post-graduation information skills of business students.
Lisa received her Master of Library and Information Science from the University of California at Los Angeles. Her bachelors degrees were received from the University of Redlands.
Lisa has worked as a business specialist for the past five years. Institutions where she previously worked include the University of North Dakota and National University.
