The overall objective of this project is to learn more about mobile device users and provide them with better interfaces to the library's content. In order to do this, data needs to be gathered about the behavior of mobile device users in particular disciplines. Additionally, the project will endeavor to determine what library content is of the greatest value to mobile users (both end-users and library staff providing mobile services). Based on this data, Web Services staff will develop a mobile version of the library website and investigate the development of specific widgets and applications for users to effectively interact with both library content and subject librarians.
