This project will be a contest hosted by the UH Libraries that will be open to all UH students. Students will be asked to create a multimedia work matching historical images of Houston from the UH Digital Library with contemporary images of the same site—depicting the transition from then to now. The contest will be juried by representatives from the UH School of Art, Valenti School of Communication and Center for Public History. The UH Libraries will also partner with these three departments to design and promote the event.
