This project will focus on building a mobile walking-tour web application (not a device specific app) that has the ability to integrate with multiple image repositories such as Flickr or CONTENTdm. Using geolocation and possibly augmented reality, we will pull images and relevant metadata into a web application that will allow people to look at information about the building they are standing in front of on campus. We will work closely with someone from UH Web Services on this project, with the hope of further expanding and integrating this tool into a larger UH mobile website.
