Key Resources for Graduate Students

  • ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Full Text Database Information
    The ProQuest Dissertations & Theses database (PQDT) indexes over 2.4 million dissertations and theses included from around the world; nearly one million are available in full text. Each dissertation published since July 1980 includes a 350-word abstract written by the author. Master's theses published since 1988 include 150-word abstracts. Bibliographic citations are available for dissertations dating from 1637, and more than 65,000 new citations are added to the database every year.
  • Journal Citation Reports (JCR) Database Information
    Journal Citation Reports allows users to evaluate and compare journals using citation data drawn from over 7,500 scholarly and technical journals in science, technology and the social sciences. Journal Citation Reports provides bibliometric analysis including article counts, citation counts, and impact factor.
  • Web of Science Database Information
    Web of Science provides access to current and retrospective multidisciplinary information from high impact research journals in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Web of Science enables users can navigate forward, backward, and through the literature through cited reference searching.
  • WorldCat Database Information
    WorldCat contains all the records cataloged by OCLC member libraries. Records represent 400 languages and materials in many different formats including books, manuscripts, websites and internet resources, maps, computer programs, musical scores, films and slides, newspapers, journals and magazines, sound recordings, articles, chapters, papers, and videorecordings. The database contains tens of millions of records for resources dating from before 1000 BC to the present.
