Jericho Brown is a Cave Canem Fellow and the recipient of the Inprint Fellowship in Honor of Donald Barthelme. A Ph.D. candidate in the UH Creative Writing Program, he received his BA from Dillard University and MFA from the University of New Orleans. Among his other awards are the C. Glen Cambor Fellowship,Breadloaf Scholarships, and the College Language Association's Poetry Award in 2004. His poems have appeared inCallaloo, Bloom and Indiana Reviews.

Brad Hipps Hipps is a second-year master's candidate in the UH Creative Writing Program and the recipient of the Michener Fellowship in Honor of Donald Barthelme. A magna cum laude, graduate of Wake Forest, he spent eleven years in the corporate world before deciding to pursue writing. He and his wife Laura have lived in Europe and moved to Houston from Amsterdam.
