Paul Otremba is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Houston and holds an M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Maryland. Sophie Rosenblum was born and raised in the West Village of Manhattan and went to Bard College where she majored in creative writing. After graduating she went to the Columbia Publishing program before working at an art gallery, a production studio and a literary agency. She loves Houston but desperately misses her English Bulldog, Winnie.

Mike Jones joined the US Army in 1993 at the age of seventeen and continued with a similar string of bad decisions until 2001, when he married a Canadian and moved to Edmonton, Alberta. He has returned to Texas seeking literary glory and Shiner beer.

Brian Nicolet Nicolet received his BA in English from Texas State University where he served as a Poetry Editor for Persona, a small undergraduate literary journal. He is currently a first-year MFA candidate in poetry hoping to light a match to the incandescent literary world.

Free and open to the public, lemonade and light refreshments are provided.
