This encyclopedic database offers fully searchable content from McGraw-Hill's Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, 10th Edition.
This classic Chemistry resource provides broad coverage of all types of physical science data commonly encountered by scientists and engineers.
While JSTOR is not exclusively a science database, it is a great resource for general science topics and the history of science.
In addition to providing full-text access to the journal Science, this database offers the latest in science-related news items and a job searching tool!
Full text of Elsevier journals, largest publisher of science and technology journals.
In addition to functioning as a regular database, the Citation Searching feature of Web of Science allows you to see who has cited a particular article in subsequent publications.
Full text to many Wiley journals, a key science and technology publisher. Wiley also provides access to SpecInfo, an integrated spectroscopy solution for viewing, predicting, and searching spectra.
This database allows you to search for books on a given topic. Not only will It will tell you if the UH library has a copy of the book, it will tell you what other libraries throughout the country have that book in their collection.
