The M.D. Anderson Library provides over fifty rooms available for group study. Most of these are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Red wing (also Brown wing) and are available on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations are accepted. Groups of three (3) or more may use these rooms any time the library is open. Study rooms are only available to UH students, faculty and staff. Groups may use these rooms for four (4) hours; renewals are not permitted. Overdue fines of $9.00/hour apply.

Other available study rooms include:
- Collaborative Workrooms (Academic Research Center) Study rooms with 42" wide-screen monitors for group projects; rooms require reservation. Visit the Information Desk for more information.
- Individual Study Carrels Individual, open-use carrels are available on floors 2-5 of the Brown wing.
