- Current members of the Alumni Association are eligible for a Library Associates Card free of charge.
- Books may be checked out for three (3) weeks.
- Limit of 4 items checked out at a time.
- Limit of 2 videos at a time.
- No interlibrary loan, paging, or recall services.
- They can upgrade to an Expanded Associates Card for an additional $40.00.
- UH (main campus) alumni are welcome to use the UH Libraries electronic resources (with the exception of SciFinder Scholar) from within the M. D, Anderson Library or any of its branches. Contracts and licensing agreements prohibit us from making these resources available remotely. Open Access (i.e., freely available) resources can be found here.
Houston area residents are reminded that both the Houston Public Library (HPL) and the Harris County Public Library (HCPL) provide remote access for their card-holders to many of the same databases that are available at UH. See the HPL and HCPL sites for lists of their available databases and how to access them.
