Library Associates Card
- $75.00/year (free to Alumni Association members).
- Limit of 4 items checked out at a time.
- Limit of 2 videos at a time.
- No interlibrary loan, paging, or recall services.
Expanded Associates Card
- $150.00/year ($40.00 for Alumni Association members).
- Limit of 20 items checked out at a time.
- Limit of 2 videos at a time.
- Interlibrary loan services limited to 10 active transactions at any given time.
- Material recall and paging services available.
Library Associates and Expanded Associates cards are available for purchase at the Service Desk, on the 1st floor of the M.D. Anderson Library. We accept cash and checks made payable to "University of Houston".
Policies for all Library Associates Cards
- 3 week loan period.
- All privileges will be suspended until overdue books are returned or renewed.
- Card valid for 12 months from date of issuance.
- Does not include remote access to commercial databases licensed by the Libraries.
- Cards are honored at M.D. Anderson and its branches, UH Clear Lake, and UH Downtown. Policies may vary at other libraries. Please respect each library's rules.
- Cards are not honored at the UH Law Library or UH Victoria.
- Cardholders must be at least 18 years of age.
- Photo ID must be presented along with the card each time it is used.
- Non-transferable.
- Non-refundable.
