What is it?
The Document Delivery service is offered to Faculty members and Graduate Students. Faculty & Graduate Students can request to have articles and book chapters owned by the UH Libraries scanned and delivered to them electronically.
Who Can Use the Service?
Faculty members and graduate students.
What Can Be Requested?
Articles and book chapters owned by the UH Libraries that are not available in an electronic format.
Items on Course Reserve cannot be requested through the service.
How long does it take?
We aim to fill requests within 2 business days. Requests for articles of unusual length may have longer processing times.
How Do I Place a Request?
Log in to ILLiad. From the ILLiad Main Menu, click the Document Delivery link on the left-hand menu. Fill out the request form and click on Submit Request.
(If you do not have an ILLiad login, complete the registration form to create an account.)
What Does It Cost?
There is no charge for the Document Delivery service.
How Will I Receive the Articles?
Your articles will be delivered as PDFs. You will receive an email alerting you that an item has been delivered. Log into ILLiad and select Web Delivery from the "View" menu on the left to view the requested item.
