Workshops & Instruction

The University of Houston Libraries offers a variety of workshops, from basic Library Survival to advanced research in specific disciplines. Librarians are also available to teach research sessions tailored to specific courses and assignments. Sessions can focus on using databases, finding full-text articles, searching the Internet, and evaluating information. Faculty may schedule one of these sessions during their normal class time using our Instruction Session Request Form or by contacting the subject librarians.

Faculty who incorporate library or information resources into assignments or wish to include library resources in their WebCT courses may wish to consult the subject librarians or Irene Ke, Director, Instruction and Information Literacy Program.
